By paying the planning fee and/or deposit, I have read and accept the Terms & Conditions on behalf of myself and anyone in my party:
DOCUMENTATION: Everyone, including children and infants, MUST have a VALID passport to travel internationally (not a Passport Card). Travel documents, including passports, visas, and health/vaccination certificates required are traveler responsibility. Valid passports are absolutely required for all international destinations and the expiration date should be at least 6 months following the return date of your trip. Some countries require that your passport have two to four blank visa/stamp pages. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met. When travelling domestically or internationally, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advise that everyone carry at least two forms of acceptable identification in order to board a flight. Examples: DHS designated enhanced driver’s license, USA Passport, a foreign government passport. The name, date of birth and gender that appears on the identification card must exactly match the same such data that is listed on airline ticket(s) and booking records.
Additionally, a visa and vaccinations may be required. Please note that even when a visa is issued, a traveler may be denied entry since each country’s local immigration officials make the final entry decision. Several factors including past criminal record may contribute to the decision of the local immigration official(s). Should a visa not be issued, TravelAble is not responsible for lost payments made toward the contemplated trip.
CRIMINAL RECORD: If traveling to or through Canada, travelers with a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or other conviction record should always check whether current rules exclude admission. TravelAble feels it is an invasion of privacy to make such an inquiry of you. The final decision of entry rests with the immigration or border services officer. SAFETY AND HEALTH: Visit the USA State Department Web site www.travel.state.gov on a regular basis for information regarding incidence of disease, terrorism, safety issues, crime, the need for travel documentation (such as passports, visas, proof of health/vaccination certificates), health hazards, and other restrictions regarding travel to your domestic and/or international destination(s), and re-entry into the United States. Required or advised inoculations you decide to obtain upon the advice of your personal physician may need to be administered in a series of doses months ahead of your planned departure and such time element should be taken into account by you when making deposits and/or nonrefundable final payments. Visit the websites of the USA Centers for Disease Control and the International Society of Travel Medicine.
AIRFARE: Flight confirmation is subject to availability and prices are subject to change after the date of deposit, including price increases in the fee for a seat assignment, fee for baggage, applicable fuel surcharges, or an increase in a government-imposed fee or tax. Passport copies are required to confirm international air reservations.
HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELERS: You MUST bring a copy of your marriage certificate to qualify for any complimentary honeymoon/anniversary package (photocopy is recommended). Failure to have such proof of marriage will result in the resort denying these complimentary privileges (if applicable). Please notify TravelAble if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so that they can annotate this in your reservation. Typically, resort will honor these packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.
TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. TravelAble is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.
BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies it is suggested that you inquire with your airline’s website for up-to-date fees & information. TravelAble is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. Please review “Updated Checked Bag and Carryon Bag Rules” at www.TSA.gov
AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules and may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond TravelAble’s control. If such a situation occurs, TravelAble will do its very best to assist you with finding best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so). TravelAble will notify you of major changes. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. TravelAble is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. TravelAble is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
PRICING: Availability and price quotes are applicable to the date and time at which they are requested and cannot be guaranteed until payment is made. Quotes in a foreign currency fluctuate with exchange rates and international payments may carry a foreign transaction fee. TravelAble will make every effort to honor the price as originally quoted, however, under certain circumstances additional costs by a supplier or government may be imposed due to an increase in the cost for one or more of the travel components. Certain suppliers reserve the right to increase prices to cover increased costs, fuel surcharges, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.
DATA: Correct legal names that match identification to be used for travel must be provided by the client to TravelAble. Name changes are not permitted on airline tickets. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information on any information forms. TravelAble is not responsible for costs incurred by incorrect information provided for travel planning including reservations and airline tickets. Once purchased, US air transaction prices will not increase, except for potential charges resulting from government-imposed taxes or fees. I consent to pay for such charges and authorize TravelAble to charge my credit card for such additional amounts.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: Any changes made to an existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change.
FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 45 days prior to departure. Final payments are not automatically charged. Please note your calendar of this final payment date as reminders may not be sent, however we try to send reminders about a week prior. TravelAble is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Pertaining to the room portion of your trip; once your reservation is made, the penalties assessed are made by the supplier, not TravelAble. Travelers agree that the planning fee will NOT be refunded upon cancellation. Regarding Airline tickets: if TravelAble booked your tickets, they are 100% non- refundable and subject to individual airline penalties/fees (see insurance below).
LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the due date above will incur a $25 per person late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable. All the above would be protected with the optional Travel Insurance except for late fees. If you do not have insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal emergencies, cancelation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve you from these penalties. ONLY the Travel Insurance will ensure you coverage. All cancellations must be received in writing.
CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE: Cancel for Any Reason Insurance can only be purchased at the time your reservation is made; it cannot be added after the initial trip deposit is received. Cancel for Any Reason Insurance will allow you to cancel for any reason up to the morning of departure (prior to flight departure) with full refund (minus insurance policy cost), provides up to $800 per person baggage loss, up to $100 per person trip delay or interruption (weather & mechanical reasons) & up to $5k per person medical expenses (secondary policy). Insurance does NOT cover items you purchase outside TravelAble (i.e. airfare, tours, excursions etc). Please Note: if you initially reserve a room only package & add airfare to the package through TravelAble at a later date your cancel for any reason insurance policy cost will be adjusted to accommodate the revised total trip package cost at that time. This plan does not include increased rates associated with a change in the number of individuals occupying a room. If the number of individuals occupying a room changes, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate.
PAYMENT and DOCUMENTS: If for any reason my credit card charges are later declined, reversed, or TravelAble is unable to receive payment for the travel plans and services, I acknowledge that this is a binding contract between myself and TravelAble shall be entitled to recovery, including reasonable attorneys’ fees in connection with collection. Overnight shipping fees for documents shipped to client from TravelAble may be billed to client.
TRAVELABLE SERVICES TO CLIENT
SERVICE AGREEMENT: TravelAble offers retail travel services to customers, which are provided by separate and independent vendors of travel services. TravelAble does not operate, control, or otherwise provide the services of the independent travel vendors. Hence, customer agrees that TravelAble acts only as agent for the client in acquiring transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing and other privileges, or services for the clients’ benefit, and on the express condition that TravelAble shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, omission or irregularity which may occur or be occasioned, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel
documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure
date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings,
incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of TravelAble Included in your
travel documents (if airfare is purchased through TravelAble) are airline
electronic ticket receipts (proof of purchase, not boarding passes or actual
tickets). Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the
airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in
luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in
addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may
