Alyssa worked hard to quickly turn around a vacation proposal that met our family’s needs and price point. She gave us four great options and we ended up loving the one we chose which was a ocean front hotel with a great 2 bedroom option for our family and a beautiful porch overlooking the gardens and ocean view. Using Alyssa really allowed us to relax, and she took care of all the little details (car seat in airport transfer), reminders about Covid procedures where we were going, etc. Also she was extremely responsive, which was so helpful for booking and also any follow up. It all started with the question: "What do you want from this trip?" Well we wanted A LOT from trip and when I say Alyssa delivered, that is not an exaggeration. When we've gone on trips in the past, my fiance and I tend to pack a lot into one day and run around trying to get to everything. I booked a trip for Paris through Alyssa for myself and my friend. I was very satisfied. Alyssa was very detailed and thorough. She gave us recommendations (which we loved) and provided a nice itinerary. Even when we experienced difficulties on the first day, she responded right away and helped us deal with the situation and even followed through to make sure it was handled.

Alyssa made our dream vacation to France a reality! My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 5-year anniversary with a big trip and turned to Alyssa’s expertise in traveling in France to plan an unforgettable trip. Instead of spending countless hours perusing Trip Advisor ourselves and guessing at what the best experiences would be, we discussed our dream trip to Paris with Alyssa, including our budget and our travel preferences. Alyssa was patient and flexible with our very particular likes and dislikes and curated a custom made itinerary for us, complete with restaurant recommendations and travel tips. She worked overtime to replace a wine and cheese tasting tour on our itinerary after we told her my wife was pregnant with our firstborn. She quickly booked us a more pregnant-friendly pastry and chocolate tour of St. Germain (a delightful, intimate experience with a knowledgeable guide that I would HIGHLY recommend). The trip ended up being everything we hoped for and more. August in Paris meant beautiful weather and lots of outdoor activities, but also lots of crowds and lots of businesses were closed for the month. But this only made me *more* appreciative of Alyssa’s travel planning and grateful that we had booked most of our essential experiences before we left. Everything she booked for us (including transportation once we arrived, which typically stresses me out the most) went smoothly, with not one significant snag, hiccup or problem to speak of. Alyssa’s communication is clear, attentive, and enthusiastic. She helped with all of our requests and answered all of our questions and concerns. She even booked us the *perfect* hotel in Dublin when she found out we had an overnight layover there on the way home. Alyssa makes the fun parts of planning a trip more fun and makes the challenging parts much easier. When planning a summer trip (our first with her), I said "We want to see the Eiffel Tower." At the start of planning, we knew only that much; her subsequent questions and suggestions gave rise to an amazing road trip including multiple cities. She remembers our family structure with each trip we plan and tailors her suggestions accordingly. Her email communication is clear, prompt, and organized. She can even troubleshoot; on one trip, we encountered an unexpected attraction closure, and she promptly responded to my email and helped us get a refund. I can't imagine planning a trip without her guidance!

Alyssa was truly fantastic. We wanted to take a multi-generational trip with my mom and our 18-month old son. Alyssa took our budget and created an itinerary that was perfect. Our trip to Paira Daiza in July 2023 was unquestionably one of the most unique, memorable trips we'll ever have. Alyssa patiently went back and forth with us regarding possible dates because it books far in advance. When I shared that we were struggling to choose a room type (tigers or polar bears) she suggested that we could spend one night in each instead of two in the same. This turned out to be the perfect suggestion. She even ensured that hotel staff would move our bags for us while we were exploring on day two; all we had to do was pack up and then go have fun. It's a bucket list item I didn't even know I had until she told us about the place a year prior. We're so thankful we had the chance to experience it!

My family has been blessed to do a lot of travel under Alyssa's guidance, but I think Spain in July 2023 may have been my children's favorite overall trip. My younger child still talks about the treats we received poolside at our hotel in Madrid, and my older child still talks about the food at the resort in Mallorca (as well as talks about the beach and pool). Clearly we like food! :) Alyssa knows this and made sure, as she does for every trip, that we have plenty of restaurant suggestions and plans for activities.

There have been many things I've loved about every trip Alyssa has planned for us, but our trip to Greece in September/October 2023 is thus far my favorite overall trip. We visited Athens, Santorini, and Crete. Alyssa found the perfect lodging for us in each place. Locations and service in each were both excellent; we had the perfect mix of staff support and independence. As usual, her restaurant and activity suggestions were on point. I would do that trip over again in a heartbeat!

With barely 2 weeks notice, I reached out to Alyssa to plan a last minute trip when my children had a week off of school in February 2024. After asking some questions, Alyssa suggested a trip to Rome, Perugia, and Bologna. I've told people that I ate more in that weeklong trip than I had in the month prior. That's an exaggeration, but we truly had so much superb food! One excursion that Alyssa suggested, and that we agreed to, was a private family friendly cooking class at a farm in the countryside. It was probably my single favorite excursion we've done on any trip. I'm so glad Alyssa found it and suggested it! I get overwhelmed searching for activities and was, as usual, grateful for her guidance.

After graduating from grad school, I wanted to celebrate with my friends at an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. Alyssa helped us out throughout the process and really took the stress of planning a vacation off our shoulders. Alyssa suggested a few places that fit our preferences which really helped us narrow it down to Punta Cana and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our pick! The weather was beautiful and the beach was perfect. We were also able to enjoy the many events and parties that were held on the resort as well. Alyssa helped us pick out a great excursion off the resort. She recommended a happy hour cruise and snorkeling which was probably my favorite part of the trip! This was better than hoped for. An English countryside visit with real charm. The inn was spectacularly quaint and charming. The rental car was exactly what we needed to get around. The location was conveniently located near all the important places we wanted to visit. When we decided to made a switch mid-trip, Alyssa was quick in responding and getting us set up. All I had was a vague idea of what I wanted, and Alyssa turned it into a really amazing trip. I can’t get over how much I enjoyed this trip.

When I set out to surprise my fiance with his first ever cruise I had no idea what to look for or where to start. After speaking with Alyssa I was able to narrow it down and get exactly what I wanted for us. The very first thing my fiance said after sitting down at the cruise bar with his first drink was, "We have to thank Alyssa." I've dreamed about visiting Scotland for years and am grateful that Alyssa helped make it happen. As we usually do when planning a trip with her, we gave her our dates and a tentative idea of things we wanted to see. She drafted a proposal and continuously adjusted it based on our feedback. Just returned from a spectacular trip to Sardinia with a friend to celebrate our Jubilee!
